Final list of Vietnam golf team competing at SEA Games 33

On December 4, the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) officially announced the list of 7 members of the Vietnamese golf team that will compete at the upcoming 33rd SEA Games.

In just a few days, the Vietnam National Golf Team will officially depart for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games, taking place at Siam Country Club – Rolling Hill (Chonburi).

Participating in this Congress, the Vietnam National Golf Team gathered 7 players: Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Le Chuc An, Le Nguyen Minh Anh and Nguyen Viet Gia Han. This is a force carefully selected from national tournaments and through professional evaluation of the Coaching Board, with the expectation of continuing the historical success at the most recent SEA Games.

SEA Games 33 (or SEA Games 2025) – the XXXIII Southeast Asian Games – will take place from December 9 to 20, 2025, gathering athletes from 11 countries with 50 sports. Golf alone will take place from December 11 to 14, 2025 at Siam Country Club – Rolling Hill, Chonburi.

At this year's tournament, golf will award 4 sets of medals, including: men's individual, women's individual, men's team and women's team. The Vietnam national golf team came to the 33rd SEA Games with the mindset of learning and accumulating experience, but still carrying the spirit of determination and desire to win. The players aim to compete with all their might for the flag and fans, and hope to create memorable marks at the Games.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong, Head of the Vietnam Golf Team, the goal of the delegation at this SEA Games is to strive to win medals. Regarding the preparation schedule, he said the team will go to Thailand 5 days in advance to have time to practice and get familiar with the course. The official competition rounds will start from December 11th.
