On the afternoon of August 15th, the inspection team of the Central Party Secretariat visited and worked with the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee. Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, visited and worked with officials and staff of the Thai Binh Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Also attending the working session were Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy and Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Dong Hai.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province, Vu Thanh Van, reported on the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province. Mr. Van stated that the provincial Fatherland Front office currently has modern facilities and equipment that meet the requirements of its tasks. The provincial Fatherland Front system includes the provincial level, 8 districts and cities, 260 communes, wards, and towns, and 1,797 Fatherland Front Working Committees in residential areas. The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province no longer operates under the mechanism where the Head of the Mass Mobilization Department also serves as the Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee.

Regarding professional work, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province is focusing on implementing Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Central Committee. In particular, the work of promoting religious unity is always emphasized, with many movements such as "Four Exemplary Temples" and "Four Exemplary Parishes/Religious Communities" being maintained and developed.

Regarding social supervision and criticism, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has improved the quality and effectiveness of its work, and the province has allocated funds for its implementation. In addition, the program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households is also being focused on, with the goal of completion by 2026.

In the coming period, in addition to implementing the directives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will focus on implementing the program to support the elimination of dilapidated houses according to the set goals and plans. They will also advise on the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels and the elections of People's Councils at all levels. Furthermore, they will focus on building and replicating the model of "Self-governing, safe, prosperous, and happy residential areas" throughout Thai Binh province.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province coordinated the organization of gift-giving to 300 Dien Bien Phu veterans in the province, and advised the province to organize a solemn and warm reunion with Dien Bien Phu veterans. Annually, 100% of residential areas in the province maintain the organization of the National Unity Day, and many residential areas organize a solidarity meal. During the recent Lunar New Year, using provincial funds, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province successfully distributed gifts to poor households throughout the province.

During a conversation with officials and staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, expressed his pleasure to learn that the staff of the agency all have extensive work experience, are drawn from various sources, and that the agency's facilities are adequate to meet work requirements.

Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized that although the work of the Fatherland Front is arduous, it is a noble task, trusted by the Party and cherished by the people. Therefore, the Fatherland Front's cadres need to strive to overcome difficulties to successfully fulfill their roles and responsibilities.

One of the key tasks that Chairman Do Van Chien particularly emphasized was the implementation of the program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households. The Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh needs to focus on mobilizing resources to achieve the goal of supporting the elimination of nearly 2,000 dilapidated houses in 2025, a year with many major national holidays, including the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

Chairman Do Van Chien also highly appreciated and encouraged the replication of exemplary models such as "Four Exemplary Temples" and "Four Exemplary Parishes" to unite and gather religious followers. At the same time, he requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh focus on improving the quality and expanding the "Self-governing, Safe, Prosperous, and Happy Residential Area" model that the province is currently implementing.

On this occasion, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his gratitude to the Party committees and government of Thai Binh province for creating favorable conditions for the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to effectively fulfill its noble role and nhiệm vụ.
