National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man meets with full-time female National Assembly deputies and female leaders of Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.

On the evening of October 17, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, and National Assembly Chairwoman Tran Thanh Man met with full-time female National Assembly deputies, female leaders, and female Party Committee members of Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025).

Attending the meeting were members of the Party Central Committee: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai; Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee Hoang Thanh Tung; Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh; Permanent Deputy Head of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Le Thi Nga.

Also attending were the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, the State Audit, leaders of agencies, staff and assistants of the National Assembly Party Committee, and especially full-time female National Assembly deputies, female leaders, and female Party Committee members of Party Committees directly under the National Assembly Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the National Assembly leaders and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent his best wishes to full-time female National Assembly deputies, female leaders and female Party Committee members under the National Assembly Party Committee on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.

The National Assembly Chairwoman respectfully acknowledged the contributions of generations of female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office to the overall achievements of the National Assembly over the past 80 years.

Recalling the eight golden words "Heroic, indomitable, loyal, and courageous" that beloved Uncle Ho dedicated to Vietnamese women, the National Assembly Chairman affirmed that in any position, Vietnamese women always promote their mettle, will, determination, compassion, kindness, sacrifice, ingenuity and always strive to improve.

Vietnamese women not only fulfill their roles as wives and mothers, being a solid foundation connecting family members, taking care of family happiness, but also actively implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws, participating in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building the country's political system.

Highlighting the country's outstanding achievements after nearly 40 years of Renovation, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized the very important contributions of Vietnamese women in general and female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office in particular.

The National Assembly Chairman said that Vietnam ranks 51st in the world, 4th in Asia, and first in the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Southeast Asian countries in terms of the percentage of female National Assembly deputies, of which the 15th National Assembly has a fairly high percentage of female deputies, reaching 30.27%.

The National Assembly Chairwoman acknowledged that female deputies of the 15th National Assembly, female officials of National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office are very sharp, creative, dedicated and enthusiastic in performing political and professional tasks and women's movements, making important contributions to the achievements of the National Assembly and realizing the goal of advancing women, building happy and civilized families, and ultimately the prosperous development of the country.

Emphasizing that the tasks of the 15th National Assembly are still very heavy, especially completing the huge workload of the upcoming 10th Session, the National Assembly Chairwoman hopes that female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office will continue to promote the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, promote their intelligence, responsibility, enthusiasm, talent, and mettle to contribute to improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly's activities; constantly cultivate and improve their qualifications through practical activities, become shining examples of solidarity, progress, spread, and inspire women across the country, especially the young generation in the agency.

To quickly adapt to changes in practice and more effectively carry out the role and responsibility of the National Assembly towards the country, the National Assembly Chairwoman hopes that female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office will continuously study, listen, and equip themselves with more knowledge and skills to serve their work and build a good image of female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office.

"I hope that women in the National Assembly will take the lead and be the core in the movement to apply information technology, digital transformation, digitization, artificial intelligence AI, and carry out the Digital Literacy Movement so that we can research, absorb, apply science and technology, innovate, and digital transformation in the work of the National Assembly," the National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized.

In particular, the National Assembly Chairwoman requested female National Assembly deputies, female officials of National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office to thoroughly grasp the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the 5th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union; requested the Vietnam Women National Assembly Delegates Group to organize thematic activities to thoroughly grasp and implement the directions of General Secretary To Lam at this Congress.

The National Assembly Chairwoman affirmed that the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office will continue to pay attention and create more favorable conditions for female National Assembly deputies, female officials of the National Assembly agencies, and the National Assembly Office to develop and shine more and more.
