Regarding the irregularities in the 10th grade entrance exam results in Thai Binh province, Dai Doan Ket Online reported on July 29th that on July 30th, the Office of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued a document conveying the directive of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province regarding the "inspection of the organization of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Thai Binh province".

Specifically, in a document sent to the Provincial Inspectorate, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Department of Internal Affairs, the Provincial Department of Information and Communications, the People's Committee of Thai Binh province stated that it "received complaints from citizens and public opinion regarding irregularities in exam scores during the 2024-2025 high school entrance exam in Thai Binh province."
According to the document, "based on the results of the meeting of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial People's Committee," the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee requested three things.
Specifically, it requests the Provincial Inspectorate to conduct unannounced inspections of the implementation of policies, laws, assigned tasks, and powers by the Department of Education and Training, the Director of the Department of Education and Training, and related organizations and individuals in organizing the entrance examination for grade 10 of high school in the 2024-2025 school year in Thai Binh province, in accordance with the Law on Inspection and its implementing guidelines.
The Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Department of Information and Communications are requested to assign qualified and competent officials and civil servants to participate in the inspection as stipulated in the Law on Inspection, and to send the list to the Provincial Inspectorate before 2 PM on July 30, 2024; if deemed necessary, the Provincial Inspectorate may invite additional officials and civil servants from other agencies and units to participate in the inspection, ensuring objectivity, fairness, and compliance with the law.
Specifically, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province requested the Provincial Department of Internal Affairs to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision on temporarily suspending the Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training from his duties to facilitate the inspection, ensuring compliance with regulations.

As Dai Doan Ket Online has reported, recently, public opinion in Thai Binh province has been abuzz surrounding the results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year, both in the initial results and the results of the review process.
In mid-June 2024, when the exam results were announced by Thai Binh province, many parents, teachers, and students who took the exam in the province expressed surprise, believing that the scores did not accurately reflect the candidates' performance.
