Not yet cleared of criminal record, has repeatedly robbed

(HNMO) - On June 20, the Chuong My District Police ( Hanoi ) detained Do Ngoc Hung (born in 1993; in Dong Mit village, Dong Tam commune, My Duc district, Hanoi) to serve the investigation related to the property robbery cases that occurred in the area recently.

According to investigation documents, Do Ngoc Hung has 2 previous convictions for "Robbery" and has not had his criminal record cleared.

Subject Hung and the means of committing the crime.

Previously, at 7:30 a.m. on June 9, Xuan Mai Town Police, Chuong My District, received a report from Ms. Tran Phuong H (born in 2002; in Xuan Mai Town, Chuong My District). Specifically, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 8, while she was waiting for the bus at the bus stop in Group 6, Tan Binh Residential Group, Xuan Mai Town, suddenly, a young man driving a motorbike approached, snatched her Samsung A30S phone, worth about 7 million VND, and then fled in the direction of Hoa Binh Province.

By synchronously implementing professional measures, Xuan Mai Town Police quickly identified the perpetrator of the above robbery as Do Ngoc Hung, and simultaneously arrested the subject and seized all evidence related to the robbery.

In addition to the above incident, the police agency also clarified 3 other robberies in Xuan Mai town committed by Hung before. Typically, at about 9:00 p.m. on May 17, on Ho Chi Minh road, section belonging to group 2, Tan Xuan residential group, Xuan Mai town, Hung drove a motorbike with license plate 29X1-701.12, snatched a black Samsung A31 mobile phone, worth about 4 million VND from Ms. Nguyen Thao P (born in 2004; in My Hung commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi).

At about 9:00 p.m. on May 18, on National Highway 6, section 2, Xuan Ha residential group, Xuan Mai town, Hung continued to snatch a Samsung A32 phone worth about 6 million VND from Ms. Nguyen Thi T (born in 1977; in Dong Yen commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi). Next, at about 9:00 p.m. on May 30, on National Highway 6, section 3, Tan Binh residential group, Xuan Mai town, Hung snatched 2 mobile phones, including 1 Samsung Galaxy A03S and 1 Vivo Y16S.

Hung spent all the money from the robbery on his personal expenses. During the investigation, the police determined that the suspect's behavior was extremely reckless; he blatantly robbed property right near the town center, where there were many people passing by.

The case is under further investigation.
