On the morning of October 17, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong chaired the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations of An Giang Province, term 2025 - 2030.

The congress is expected to take place on November 27 and 28, with about 550 delegates attending. At the meeting, the steering committee members approved the guidelines for organizing the provincial congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
