The "Revival" program raised more than 3 billion VND to support the flooded areas of Lao Cai.

After the devastating Typhoon Yagi, many houses and terraced fields that were once brilliant yellow in Lao Cai are now just desolate lands, with fallen rice plants and scattered stubble.

However, the highland people did not back down. Together they rebuilt their houses and cultivated each piece of land with the strong belief that life would soon return.

Understanding the pain and resilience of the people here, General Director Ho Hoai Anh and artists from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi came to Lao Cai, bringing songs and funny skits to perform for the people to enjoy.

The Revival Liveshow features famous singers such as: Luu Huong Giang, Quang Ha, Khac Viet, Mars Anh Tu, MTV group, Vy Oanh, Sen Hoang My Lam, Vu Thang Loi, Nguyen Ngoc Anh...

In addition, artist groups Duy Nam, Dung Hon, and Thai Duong also participated in the program with some impressive skits.

Participating in a music night with a free salary, the female singer used her own money to give gifts to 155 households in Si Ma Cai district, with the desire to share their difficulties after the storm and flood.

Previously, in September, after storm No. 3 passed, Hoa Minzy said she wanted to adopt a 6-year-old girl in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen, Lao Cai.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee of the Revival music night auctioned 5 works of art named: The Golden Color of Revival, After the Flood, Feelings of the Highlands and Reunion Day , raising 620 million VND.

Among them, MC Thanh Van's husband Hugo - the host of the show Revival - and MC Anh Tuan successfully auctioned the painting Peace for 80 million VND.

Sharing after the show, the program's general director Ho Hoai Anh said: ''All the artists and crew are wholeheartedly devoted to Lao Cai - the place that was heavily damaged by storm Yagi - no one took a single penny in salary.

About an hour before the show, we were very nervous because it was pouring rain about 20km from the stage. When the show started, it started to rain. The crew was quite nervous.

However, after only 4-5 performances, the sky cleared up until the end of the program. Nearly 10,000 audiences from Lao Cai and neighboring provinces seemed to stay until after 11pm to support the artists.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Representative of the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the leaders and people here, sent his thanks to the artists participating in the Revival music night.
