Japanese experts transfer bronchial ultrasound endoscopy technique to Hospital 19-8

Dr. Masao Hashimoto, Department of Respiratory Medicine, National Center for Global Health and Medicine Hospital (Japan) has just transferred the technique of endoscopic bronchial ultrasound with transbronchial fine needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) and endoscopic bronchial ultrasound with transbronchial lung biopsy (EBUS-TBLB) to the medical team of Hospital 19-8.

During the practice session, Dr. Masao Hashimoto directly performed these techniques on real cases, helping doctors at Hospital 19-8 access advanced methods in diagnosing and treating lung diseases, especially lung cancer and mediastinal lesions.

EBUS-TBNA and EBUS-TBLB techniques are considered important advanced methods to help increase accuracy in pathological diagnosis, while minimizing invasiveness and complications for patients.
