The breathtakingly beautiful bougainvillea-lined road on the median strip at the entrance to Vung Tau.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, hundreds of bougainvillea trees bloom profusely along the road leading to the center of Vung Tau City, creating a vibrant spring atmosphere.

Along the median strip of Vo Nguyen Giap road, from Co May Bridge to Eo Ong Tu, bougainvillea flowers display their vibrant colors.

Bougainvillea is planted low, around the base of rows of palm trees, in a variety of colors.

Along Vo Nguyen Giap road, the most beautiful and impressive feature is the bougainvillea trellis planted on concrete pillars, stretching from Eo Ong Tu to the Cua Lap roundabout.

These bougainvillea plants were grown on the poles more than 10 years ago; their thick stems were bent and secured to supports with iron frames at the top of the poles.

Many tourists visiting Vung Tau at this time of year comment that this is the most beautiful stretch of road because of its impressive bougainvillea flowers, and a few more kilometers lead to the dreamy beach.

The bougainvillea blossoms are in full bloom, bringing the atmosphere of spring to every street.

Regularly commuting along this route, Mr. Pham Quang Cuong (38 years old, residing in Vung Tau City) shared that, for him, the bougainvillea-lined road not only enhances the urban landscape but also helps people feel relaxed and reduce stress after a tiring workday.

Besides Vung Tau City, other localities in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as Ba Ria City, Dat Do district, etc., have also adopted the practice of planting bougainvillea on median strips of inner-city roads.

To attract tourists , alongside cleaning beaches and tourist spots, planting flowers along roads is also one of the urban beautification efforts in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
