Hai Phong police launch a major campaign to attack and suppress crime.

On December 12th, the Hai Phong City Police launched a high-intensity campaign to combat and suppress crime, ensure security and order; and absolutely protect the security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

The peak period of crime suppression by the Hai Phong Police will take place from December 12, 2025 to March 16, 2026; aiming to absolutely protect key targets, important infrastructure, political , economic, cultural, social, and foreign affairs events of the country and the locality; activities of Party and State leaders, international delegations; focusing on events celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, and other important events and festivals at the beginning of the year in Hai Phong city.

During the peak period, the police forces of Hai Phong city focused on implementing eight tasks, including advising local Party committees and authorities to direct departments, agencies, and mass organizations to coordinate and leverage the combined strength of the entire political system in attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order; disseminating information and mobilizing the people to raise awareness and actively participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security, report crimes, rehabilitate and educate offenders within their families and communities, and promptly resolve conflicts among the people to prevent the 발생 of crime.

Simultaneously, the units are implementing comprehensive and decisive measures and solutions to prevent and combat crime; proactively identifying and forecasting the situation and emerging crime trends in each area, sector, and locality; reviewing, supplementing, and perfecting plans and strategies for effective prevention, combat, and suppression, ensuring that criminal activities do not become complex and cause public concern.

The police force is strongly applying science and technology, digital transformation, connecting and sharing operational data, using modern technical means, and transforming the way it performs its work from traditional to modern; continuing to implement the tasks of Project 06/CP to serve social management and crime prevention and control, applying the National Population Database; ensuring that population data is "accurate, complete, clean, and up-to-date"; and effectively carrying out state management of security and order.

At the same time, units intensified political and ideological work, rewarded and motivated officers and soldiers; and increased propaganda about good people and good deeds, and examples of sacrifice and bravery in combating crime.
