Provincial Police: Conference to implement inspection and supervision work in 2024

On March 5th, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee held a meeting to implement inspection and supervision work for 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Public Security Department seriously and effectively implemented inspection and supervision work according to the issued work program; the regulations of the Party Charter, the guidance of the Central Committee and the superior Party committees. They continued to raise awareness among Party committees, Party organizations, and cadres and Party members about the importance and significance of inspection and supervision work; thereby ensuring that the implementation process was complete, comprehensive, and appropriate in content and scope, ensuring regular leadership and direction from Party committees at all levels; the scope of supervision expanded, the quality of inspection deepened, and collective inspection and supervision was linked with the head and Party committee members. This gradually improved the quality of inspection and supervision, contributing to enhancing the capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; promptly rectifying shortcomings and preventing violations; and strictly handling cases of misconduct.

Overview of the conference.

In 2024, the fourth year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, in order to effectively carry out the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work in the coming period, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee requests that Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels, especially their leaders, need to raise awareness and responsibility regarding inspection and supervision work; continue to review, amend, supplement, and perfect the working regulations of Party committees and inspection committees, as well as regulations and procedures on Party inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work, ensuring synchronicity, strictness, and timeliness; proactively grasp the thoughts and situations at the grassroots level to promptly handle and prevent violations; and regularly pay attention to and coordinate with inspection committees at all levels to promptly direct and guide inspection and supervision work, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions set forth by Party committees at all levels.

At the conference, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee leadership disseminated Regulation No. 131-QĐ/TW, dated October 27, 2023, of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing corruption and negative practices in inspection, supervision, party discipline enforcement, and in inspection and auditing activities, as well as the Provincial Public Security Party Committee's plan for implementing Regulation No. 131-QĐ/TW.
