He also urged the department to promptly advise on and approve adjustments to the implementation time of the Ca Na and Ninh Chu port dredging projects to facilitate the next phase of work. * On the same day, comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to proposals for water supply solutions for the project area to build infrastructure to serve concentrated safe vegetable production in An Hai commune and to propose water supply for Tien Tien Organic Agricultural Farm (Ninh Phuoc).
According to the design, the infrastructure construction component project serving the concentrated safe vegetable production area of An Hai commune is responsible for pumping water to irrigate 300 hectares, including green asparagus, carrots, peanuts, green onions, tomatoes... Currently, Ninh Phuoc Irrigation Station is operating 4 pumps, with an irrigation flow rate of 4 days/week, pumping time of 4 hours and 30 minutes per day. Based on the proposal of Tien Tien Organic Agricultural Farm on the policy of connecting to the main pipeline system to get water to irrigate the farm's crops, Ninh Phuoc District People's Committee is coordinating with the Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to agree on a plan to increase the operating time of the pumping station, and develop a schedule to regulate water supply with the flow rate required by the farm.
Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Ninh Phuoc district to proactively coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to develop a detailed water supply operation plan, ensuring irrigation water for the project area; and at the same time, research reasonable irrigation and drainage technical solutions to avoid water waste. Regarding the proposal from Tien Tien Organic Farm, it is necessary to urgently hire a consulting unit to conduct surveys and prepare connection design documents to be submitted to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for consideration and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
