Quang Nam Provincial Police take over the task of managing criminal records

This handover aims to implement the policy of streamlining the state apparatus, ensuring effective management and service to the people. Over the past time, the Provincial Police and the Department of Justice have closely coordinated, reviewed functions, tasks, personnel, and equipment to ensure the transfer process goes smoothly, without interruption of operations.

At the ceremony, the two units approved and signed the handover minutes, including the transfer of state management tasks on criminal records, shared criminal records management system, database, records, related documents and equipment serving the work of issuing criminal records from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Director of Quang Nam Police affirmed that this is an important milestone, creating a legal basis for the implementation of new tasks, and emphasized the need to continue close coordination to ensure the reception and operation of the system in accordance with regulations, without affecting the work of serving the people.

Immediately after the handover ceremony, the Provincial Police assigned the Professional Records Department to take charge of receiving and operating the system. Within 2 months from February 25, the Department of Justice will send support staff to ensure the transfer takes place smoothly and effectively.
