In the coastal city of Sam Son , the opening ceremony of the 2024 Beach Tourism season and the inauguration of the Beach Square - the festival landscape axis of Sam Son City - will take place at 8:10 PM on April 27, 2024, at the Beach Square stage, Trung Son ward.
Following the ceremonial part, there will be an art program themed "Sam Son in Vibrant Colors" and a low-altitude fireworks display. The program is being organized with funding from social contributions.
During an inspection of the Sam Son City Beach Square Project, the festival landscape axis, and preparations for the opening of the 2024 beach tourism season, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: Sam Son City is the lead and organizing unit, but this is a shared task of the province, of functional departments and related units, not just Sam Son City alone. Therefore, the Party Committee, government, and functional departments need to uphold their roles and responsibilities in carrying out the assigned tasks.
The head of the Thanh Hoa provincial government highly appreciated the decisive, creative, and effective sense of responsibility shown by Sam Son City and relevant agencies in implementing tourism projects in the area. He also requested that the organization of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival and the inauguration of the Sea Square and the festival landscape axis in Sam Son City be carried out meticulously, impressively, and with absolute safety. Relevant departments and units must adhere closely to the conclusions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to effectively carry out their assigned tasks, conducting preliminary and final rehearsals of the program according to the agreed-upon plan and script.
In Hoang Hoa district, according to the plan for organizing the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival recently issued by the Hoang Hoa District People's Committee, the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival 2024 will open on April 29, 2024.
The opening ceremony of this year's Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival is expected to be elaborately planned with the theme "Hai Tien - The Sea Sings a Love Song". One of the highlights of the 2024 Hai Tien beach tourism season is the Flamingo Group's planned grand opening of the entire project on April 30th and the organization of numerous recreational and entertainment activities at the Flamingo Linh Truong Eco-tourism and Resort Area in Hoang Truong commune.
Within the framework of the festival, many vibrant and attractive cultural and sporting activities will take place to further introduce, promote, and develop the cultural and tourism potential and strengths of the studious land of Hoang Hoa, creating a highlight and attracting tourists and investors to the Hai Tien beach resort and Hoang Hoa district.
In Nghi Son town, according to Plan No. 169/KH-UBND of the People's Committee of Nghi Son town, the opening ceremony of Nghi Son beach tourism in 2024 is expected to take place at 8 PM on April 26, 2024, at the beach square of Hai Hoa beach resort, Nghi Son town.
Accordingly, the festival was broadcast live on Thanh Hoa Provincial Radio and Television. The artistic program was themed: "Nghi Son - The Pearl Sea - Aspiration to Reach Further".
The opening ceremony will include an exhibition space showcasing OCOP products, with the participation of businesses and households in the town and some localities inside and outside the province. Cultural activities and traditional folk games will be organized for the people and tourists, such as: a rice cooking competition, a performance of the "Gia Hau Co Be Thuong Ngan" ritual, and an open men's volleyball tournament.
The activities are diverse, rich, safe, and economical, reflecting the rich traditional culture of the people of Nghi Son; creating highlights to attract tourists and investors to the town, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in a sustainable direction.
