Including Saturday and Sunday, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have a continuous 9-day Tet holiday, from February 14, 2026 (27th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake) to February 22, 2026 (6th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Horse).
For National Day on September 2nd, 2026, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have 2 days off as prescribed, including September 1st and 2nd, 2026; they will also have Monday, August 31st, 2026 off and will work on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 to compensate.
Including Saturday and Sunday, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have 5 consecutive days off for the National Day holiday on September 2nd, 2026 (from August 29th, 2026 to September 2nd, 2026).
The People's Committee of Hai Phong City requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to direct departments, agencies, and mass organizations in their areas of management and to encourage the people to display the national flag during the Lunar New Year holiday and the National Day holiday on September 2nd, 2026.
