When Tam drove through Hoang Hoa Tham Street, from Bac Giang City to Tan Yen District, he encountered a working group of the Traffic Police Department of Bac Giang City Police checking and handling alcohol concentration for drivers participating in traffic.
When Tam drove about 20 meters away from the working group, he was ordered to stop for inspection. However, Tam did not comply and instead turned around and ran away. Seeing the working group determined to stop for inspection, Tam drove his car into the working group's car, causing damage.

The traffic police continued to signal the car to stop, but driver Tam still did not comply and instead pressed the gas pedal to reverse and move forward to avoid obstacles in order to escape.
When blocked by two trucks of the working group, unable to escape, driver Tam closed the door and refused to get out of the car to work. Faced with this situation, the working group broke the windshield on the driver's side to open the car door and control Tam.
Through testing, driver Tam violated the alcohol concentration at a very high level, up to 0.595 mg/liter of breath.
Bac Giang City Police have arrested driver Tam for resisting law enforcement officers. At the investigation agency, Tam admitted all his actions.
