Specifically, a post on social media reflected that hundreds of passengers on the night flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City, landing at Tan Son Nhat airport at 00:20 on June 15, had to wait in a telescopic corridor because a glass door had not been opened. The stuffy, tiring situation made many people upset.

After receiving the feedback, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requested the Southern Airport Authority to preside over and coordinate with Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Border Police and related units to urgently clarify the cause and strictly handle individuals and organizations if there are violations.

At the same time, the department directed the review of the entire passenger service process, evaluated the coordination regulations between units to promptly correct shortcomings, ensure service quality and passenger rights.

A passenger on this flight reported that hundreds of people were waiting in the middle of the night, with no one to guide them or open the door.

It took a long time for the airline representative to call security staff to open the door. They even argued in front of passengers because they had gone to the wrong gate. The Civil Aviation Authority emphasized that the incident at Tan Son Nhat needs to be clarified to avoid a similar situation, especially during the peak summer tourist season.
