Speaking at the event, not only appreciating the economic values ​​that this group brings, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) appreciated Samsung's attention to investing in research and development, training high-quality human resources in Vietnam, of which the R&D Center is proof.

“I appreciate programs that demonstrate corporate social responsibility, such as the global Information and Communications Technology education program for youth.

The Solve for Tomorrow contest - a science and technology innovation contest for middle and high school students that my children are studying at these schools, has truly inspired and stirred up the passion for science and creativity in students - the future generation of the country.

These activities have helped students discover their own abilities, and have been supported to reach out to the world stage through sponsorship and training of candidates representing Vietnam to participate in the World Skills Competition, bringing home a bronze medal for the country," Ms. Hoa said.

In addition to activities for the young generation in urban areas, this group also cares for disadvantaged people through the project of building "Hope School" to improve living and learning conditions for students in difficult circumstances.

Recently, the group has also expanded scholarships for students of Viet Bac College of Culture and Arts, awarded to talented and resilient students, students from remote mountainous areas, Meo Vac, Dong Van... Scholarships are a great source of material and spiritual encouragement.

Ms. Hoa also hopes that the group will continue to promote meaningful programs like this to spread good values ​​and contribute to the community, including encouraging scientific research and inventions...
