On September 24th, the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects Management Board announced the plan for blasting and rock excavation of the roadbed at the final intersection with the Hai Van - Tuy Loan tunnel, part of the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port.
This is the first blasting operation in the planned project to construct the coastal road connecting Lien Chieu port. A total of 40 blasting operations are expected.
The blasting will take place from 13:15 to 13:45 on September 25th, at the final intersection of the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu Port (Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District).
During this time, traffic will be temporarily suspended through the blasting site and related local roads for approximately 30 minutes.

Traffic police forces, construction units, and the Hai Van Tunnel Traffic Control Center will coordinate to set up three checkpoints to regulate and temporarily halt traffic, ensuring traffic safety during the blasting operation.
Checkpoint No. 1 is located at the northern entrance of the Hai Van Tunnel. Checkpoint No. 2 is located 30 meters north of the Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan roundabout and the Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road. Checkpoint No. 3 is located north of Bridge No. 4 on the Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road.
The project to construct the coastal road connecting Lien Chieu Port has a total investment of VND 1,203 billion, with the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects Management Board as the investor. The road is nearly 3km long, 30m wide, and has 6 lanes. The project commenced in September 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2025.
