From October 2-3, the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Ho Chi Minh City, term 2024-2029, will be held, with 642 delegates attending.
Mr. Ngo Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, shared information about the upcoming Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City.
On September 24th, Mr. Ngo Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, announced that, in preparation for the 12th National Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is implementing five celebratory projects: the "Helping Hands, Sustainable Poverty Alleviation" project, donating 183 livelihood resources worth over 2.4 billion VND; upgrading Thanh Hoa hamlet park in Thanh An commune, Can Gio district with an investment of 2 billion VND; the "Connecting Social Security, for the Poor of Ho Chi Minh City" project, donating 4,500 fire extinguishers to 4,500 poor, near-poor, and particularly disadvantaged households in Ho Chi Minh City; providing health insurance cards… totaling 3.69 billion VND; planting 50,000 trees; and commending 50 wards, communes, towns, and 50 clean, green, and friendly residential areas in Ho Chi Minh City for the period 2019-2024. Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City implemented 5 targets and 4 key projects, works and programs. The 12th Congress will also elect an official delegation of 23 delegates to attend the Central Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Furthermore, prior to the Congress, the Organizing Committee will hold a welcoming photo exhibition with the theme "Vietnam Fatherland Front - The Mark of a Term". The exhibition will take place from September 24th to October 5th, 2024, at Lam Son Park, District 1... According to Mr. Ngo Thanh Son, the Congress will consist of three solemn sessions, taking place on October 2nd and 3rd; the opening session will be held on the morning of October 2nd, where the personnel of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term will be discussed. In the remaining sessions, delegates will listen to presentations and offer suggestions for the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee in the new term; commendations will be given to collectives and individuals in the national unity bloc who have made many positive contributions to the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front in the past term; and the personnel for the 2024-2029 term will be introduced…Baotintuc.vn
