Dak Lak has 2 students winning prizes at the national competition on school violence prevention initiatives.

On the afternoon of August 27, the leaders of Le Hong Phong High School No. 2 (Tay Hoa commune) announced that two students of the school had won prizes at the second contest "Initiatives to ensure school order on preventing school violence and preventing illegal child labor" in 2025.

They are Pham Gia Bao (class 11A1) and Vo Hoang Chau (class 11A3). These two students surpassed thousands of candidates nationwide, and were honored to be 2 of 58 students who won prizes. They are also the only two students from Dak Lak province to be honored in this competition.

Previously, at the provincial round (formerly Phu Yen province), Gia Bao and Hoang Chau won first and second prizes respectively with initiatives that were highly appreciated for their breakthrough, practical application ability and deep understanding of school prevention issues.

Gia Bao also won first prize in the 2025 provincial Literature competition, while Hoang Chau won second prize in Literature and second prize in the school violence prevention competition.

The second “Initiative to ensure school order on preventing school violence and illegal child labor” contest in 2025, launched by the Ministry of Education and Training, aims to seek creative ideas in building a safe and healthy school environment; at the same time, arouse the sense of responsibility of the young generation towards urgent social issues such as preventing school violence and illegal child labor.

The national award ceremony is expected to take place on September 27, 2025 at Ngo Quyen Primary School (Ninh Kieu Ward, Can Tho City).
