Fighting against distorted arguments. Lesson 2

Repelling the plots and tricks of hostile forces to protect the Party, the State as well as the revolutionary achievements of our ancestors is the top priority of every cadre and party member in the current context.

Top priority

The examples mentioned in the previous article clearly demonstrate that hostile forces are trying every means to obstruct innovation, hinder development, divide the great national unity bloc, disrupt the political and social situation, and when conditions permit, eliminate the leadership role of our Party. In the face of such sabotage tactics, protecting the Party and the State is now the top priority, both urgent and immediate, and fundamental, regular and long-term.

To do that protection, each of us needs to uphold the spirit of national pride and solidarity. National pride is the spirit of promoting the characteristics and core values of our nation in order to preserve, apply and develop those characteristics and values to ensure territorial integrity, independence, autonomy, and the everlasting development of the nation. With solidarity, simply understood as gathering, forming a unified block, working together for a common goal... Both combined to create a sharp weapon to solve many difficulties, hostile forces, no matter how cunning and cunning, will fail.

In the context of the current world and domestic situation, it is necessary to uphold national pride, unite to fight and defeat the plots of hostile forces, those who are taking advantage of cyberspace to propagate against the Party and the State. Accordingly, it is necessary to take early action with specific and practical actions from Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, each locality, agency, unit, and all cadres and Party members.

Specific actions

Promote economic , cultural and social development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, combined with social justice, constantly improving the people's intellectual level; promptly and thoroughly resolve complaints, grasp the aspirations of the masses; proactively orient public opinion, bring correct and official information to the people, and prevent passive situations that cause instability at the grassroots level. In particular, focus on and coordinate to thoroughly resolve "hot spots" right at the grassroots level, not letting them drag on and drag out, causing public outrage, so that they no longer have the opportunity to contribute to sabotage our Party and State.

In addition, when accessing information and documents, especially content related to viewpoints on sensitive issues of the country spread on social networks, people need to be alert to identify what is good information, what is bad information, what is objective information, what is distorted information. "A part of the people today is still gullible, does not know how to distinguish between good and bad, and acts impulsively following the crowd effect. This is very dangerous for society, so we need to be alert, vigilant, identify the intentions of bad people and prevent it," said Mr. Van Le in Phu Thuy ward (Phan Thiet city).

Along with that, doing a good job of protecting internal politics, taking prevention as the main thing but also resolutely fighting to both protect and prevent the degradation of political ideology within the Party, taking advantage of social criticism to carry out impure motives and purposes. Media agencies, mass organizations and people need to coordinate closely, creating a combined strength to identify and point out wrong views, expose hostile reactionary plots, and gradually isolate them on social networks. Proactively share and spread news, articles and photos with positive content, good people and good deeds in study, work, production, in daily life and activities... "use beauty to eliminate ugliness". Raising the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, not believing, not accessing and spreading, sharing bad and toxic information, is contributing to the fight to defeat all plots and tricks of "Peaceful Evolution" of hostile and reactionary forces on cyberspace.

By doing so, we will create solidarity, unity, and protect the Party's ideology and the revolutionary achievements that our ancestors have worked so hard to build. As Uncle Ho wished before he passed away: "Our entire Party and people will unite and strive to build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic, and prosperous Vietnam and make a worthy contribution to the world revolutionary cause."
