In the 2025-2026 academic year, Can Tho University will offer 121 undergraduate programs, 59 graduate programs, and 24 doctoral programs. There are 8 new majors: history and geography pedagogy; educational psychology; e-commerce; civil law and civil procedure; artificial intelligence; food quality assurance and safety; computer networks and data communications (high-quality programs); veterinary medicine (high-quality programs).
This year, the minimum score of Can Tho University ranges from 15 to 19 points; the minimum score for computer engineering (semiconductor design) alone is up to 21.5 points (math from 6.25 points).
The majors with high minimum scores continue to be in the fields of pedagogy and preschool education. All pedagogy majors have a minimum score of 19; law majors have a minimum score of 18 (with a requirement of 6 points in math or literature).
Majors such as journalism, international business, business administration... have a minimum score of 16 points; new majors such as biomedical engineering, computer engineering... have a minimum score of 15 points.
The minimum score for all pedagogical majors is 19 points, except for physical education which is 18 points.
Compared to last year, this year's floor score of Can Tho University has not changed.
Can Tho University has 6 member schools, including: Polytechnic School, School of Information Technology and Communication, School of Economics , School of Agriculture, School of Education, School of Fisheries. In addition, there are 10 faculties, 3 research institutes and 1 Pedagogical Practice High School.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Can Tho University plans to enroll 10,060 students, with a total of 109 regular university training programs. Of which, there are 89 general programs, 2 advanced programs and 13 high-quality programs.
According to the announcement of Can Tho University, for all majors that consider high school graduation exam scores, graduating candidates must have admission scores from the floor score or higher and no subject in the admission combination has a score below 1 point.
For preschool education, candidates must have a total score of 3 subjects in the combination plus priority points from the floor score or higher, in which the preschool education aptitude subject must have a score of 5 points or higher and the total score of 2 high school graduation exam subjects plus priority points must have a score of 12.67 points or higher.
