Dien Bien welcomes more than 80,000 visitors on the occasion of the opening of the National Tourism Year

Specifically, from March 13-18, during the period of activities within the framework of the opening of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and the Hoa Ban Festival 2024, the locality welcomed 80,300 visitors, including 725 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism activities reached 140 billion VND during this period.

The number of tourists visiting Dien Bien increased sharply during the opening of the Dien Bien National Tourism Year.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of tourists visiting Dien Bien has remained high. In January and February alone, there were nearly 240,000 visitors, generating over 400 billion VND in tourism revenue.

The number of tourists visiting Dien Bien during upcoming peak seasons is expected to remain above 80,000 or even more.
