Investigation into the case of a traffic rescue vehicle driver whose arm was broken

Ham Thuan Commune Police, Lam Dong Province are investigating the case of a tow truck driver being beaten after completing a traffic rescue mission.

Mr. M. is being treated in the hospital.

Previously, at around 00:30 on September 11, NT Transport Company Limited received a request for traffic rescue support at Km 231 of the North-South Expressway in Ham Kiem commune, Lam Dong province.

After completing the rescue, Mr. PTM (born in 1989, residing in Phu Loc village, Ham Kiem commune, Lam Dong province) drove the mobile tire repair vehicle back to the company. At about 2 o'clock the same day, when the vehicle had just passed the Ma Lam overpass to prepare to turn onto the North-South highway, reaching Lam Hoa village, Ham Thuan commune, Lam Dong province, Mr. M's vehicle was stopped by another car.

After that, 4 young men used weapons to hit Mr. M. many times on different parts of his body. As a result, Mr. M. suffered multiple injuries, including a broken left arm, head injuries, and other injuries on his body. Currently, Mr. M. is being treated for his injuries at Binh Thuan General Hospital.

According to Mr. M., the people who participated in beating him also worked in the field of traffic rescue.
