The Central Inspection Commission delegation paid tribute to heroic martyrs

To commemorate the 77th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27th (1947-2024), on July 13th, a delegation from the Central Inspection Committee , led by Central Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Tien Hung, organized a program to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung, and the Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee Ho Thi Thu Hang also participated.

The delegation from the Central Inspection Committee visited and laid wreaths and offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemeteries on Highway 9, Truong Son, and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel. Laying wreaths and offering incense in remembrance of the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemeteries on Highway 9 and Truong Son, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed themselves on the legendary Truong Son front; on the Highway 9 front, the Quang Tri battlefield, and in neighboring Laos throughout the resistance war against the US.

Laying flowers and offering incense at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation from the Central Inspection Committee expressed their profound gratitude to the heroic martyrs who dedicated their youth, bravely fought, and sacrificed themselves in the 81-day and 81-night battle to defend Quang Tri Ancient Citadel during the fiery summer of 1972, paving the way for the general offensive to liberate the nation and unify the country in 1975.
