The National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province participated in the discussion at Group 11 with the National Assembly Delegations of Son La, Tay Ninh provinces and Da Nang city. Giving opinions on the draft Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools (amended), the National Assembly Deputies basically agreed with the necessity of amending the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools and agreed with the contents of the Verification Report of the National Defense and Security Committee.
Delegates also agreed to amend this Law to strengthen management; reform administrative procedures, cut unnecessary paperwork to ensure compliance with reality, create favorable conditions for agencies, organizations and people; create a solid legal corridor in state management and prevent and combat crimes and violations of the law in this field; overcome shortcomings, limitations and obstacles in the process of implementing and applying the Law in the past.
Delegates also commented on the contents and provisions of the draft law, and requested the drafting agency to clarify some contents of the draft law.

The National Assembly deputies agreed with the necessity of amending and supplementing a number of articles of the current Law on Guards; at the same time, they stated that the promulgation of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Guards aims to institutionalize the Party's recent guidelines and viewpoints on building the People's Public Security force, especially the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on the content of building the People's Public Security force.
The amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the Law on Guards aims to continue to specify the provisions of the Constitution on human rights and civil rights; overcome shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and problems arising in the practice of guard work in recent times, meet the requirements of guard work tasks in the new situation; contribute to supplementing and perfecting the legal system on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, proactively preventing, detecting and promptly stopping all plots, activities and acts, and other factors that harm the safety of guarded subjects.
