Chairman of Kim Long Ward People's Committee Dong Sy Toan talked with people at the dialogue session

Based on the land reclamation notices of the People's Committee of Hue City and the People's Committee of Kim Long Ward, the Project Management Board has so far prepared and publicly posted a draft compensation, support and resettlement plan for 27 cases under the project. This is the 7th phase related to this key infrastructure project.

At the dialogue, 13 opinions of the people were raised, focusing on issues such as: resettlement land allocation limit, determining land type to calculate compensation price, some land areas within the project scope but not yet included in compensation, or proposal to consider additional support for land outside the road boundary...

Most of the people basically agreed with the draft plan, but still wanted to clarify specific cases to ensure legitimate rights. Representatives of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Region I directly responded to each petition, and at the same time recorded it to advise and coordinate with the locality to resolve it within the scope of the law.

Mr. Dong Sy Toan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Long Ward, affirmed that the ward will create the best conditions so that people will not be disadvantaged. In cases where there are additional documents and supporting documents, the ward and the Project Management Board will receive and update them to ensure accuracy. If there are any shortcomings in the inventory process, people need to report them so that the locality can promptly check and adjust.

“For matters beyond the ward’s authority, we will compile and propose to the Hue City People’s Committee to consider and resolve. The goal is to ensure project progress and best protect the legitimate rights of the people,” Mr. Toan emphasized.

The Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River Overpass Project is a key project, contributing to the completion of Hue City's traffic infrastructure, creating momentum for urban development. Therefore, the consensus and support of the people are considered key factors for the project to be implemented smoothly and soon.
