Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the National Great Unity Day in Kim Son district.

On the morning of November 17, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee attended and shared the joy of the National Great Unity Day with cadres, party members and people of hamlet 13, Kim Tan commune (Kim Son district).

Also attending were comrades: Dinh Viet Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Van Kien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of a number of departments, branches and mass organizations of the province; leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Kim Son district; cadres, party members of Kim Tan commune and a large number of people of hamlet 13.

At the Festival, delegates and people enjoyed many special performances by the Kim Tan commune art troupe, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country; and reviewing the tradition of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023).

Promoting that tradition, in recent years, the Front Committee of Hamlet 13, Kim Tan Commune has done a good job of mobilizing, gathering and uniting the people. With the characteristic of the hamlet having over 90% of the population following Catholicism, the Front Committee of the hamlet has actively propagated and mobilized the people to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.

Front cadres regularly grasp and reflect the thoughts, aspirations, public opinion, opinions and recommendations of the people in residential areas to the Party cell and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune. The implementation of grassroots democracy regulations and mediation work in the residential community are focused on and well implemented...

Thanks to that, the people in the hamlet always comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws; unite, support each other in life; patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels have been actively responded to and implemented by the people. In the construction of new rural areas, the people have contributed money and labor to build a hamlet cultural house with a total value of 400 million VND; voluntarily renovated houses and cleaned up the environment. In economic development, the mass organizations in the hamlet have stood as a guarantee with the social policy bank and the agricultural bank to lend people over 6 billion VND for production and business; the cultivation value per hectare of agricultural land reaches an average of 100-130 million VND/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 3.13%. The whole hamlet has 83.1% of families recognized as cultural families.

Implementing the theme of the 2022 Festival, 99.4% of households in the hamlet signed a commitment to implement the model of Mobilizing religious people and people to practice civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals. The Front Committee of hamlet 13 launched the theme of the 2023 Festival: All people join hands to build solidarity houses for poor households; build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

Speaking at the Festival, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee expressed her joy at attending the Festival, and at the same time acknowledged and commended the results in socio-economic development and new rural construction of Kim Son district in general, of Kim Tan commune and hamlet 13 in particular.

He emphasized: Unity, great unity is a precious tradition of our nation; it is an endogenous strength, a decisive factor in all victories in the revolutionary cause of our Party. This fine tradition continues to be preserved and nurtured with the role of the Fatherland Front at all levels today.

He hoped that cadres working on the Front would continue to uphold the nation's precious traditions; truly be a bridge between the people and local Party committees and authorities; and build the Front into a common home for all classes of people.

To enhance the effectiveness of gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, he suggested solutions to promote the role of the elderly, religious dignitaries, and prestigious people in the community to mobilize people to join hands to build peaceful, united, and happy residential communities and villages; further improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Cadres, party members and people of hamlet 13, Kim Tan commune need to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and great solidarity; live a "good life, good religion", "respect God and love the country"; enthusiastically study, work and produce; join hands with local Party committees and authorities to excellently complete socio-economic development tasks, build new rural areas; successfully implement the targets set by Party Congresses at all levels, and build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.

On this occasion, he presented a photo of Uncle Ho leading the song of solidarity and gifts to cadres, party members and people of hamlet 13; presented 10 gifts to poor households, meritorious people, and families in especially difficult circumstances of Kim Tan commune; and presented more than 1,000 windbreakers to students of Kim Tan commune's Primary and Secondary School.

Comrade Dinh Viet Dung, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to representatives of Hamlet 13; and presented 10 gifts to families with meritorious services and those in difficult circumstances in Kim Tan Commune. On this occasion, Kim Son District and Kim Tan Commune also presented many gifts to Hamlet 13 and families with meritorious services in the commune.
