Inspecting the progress of the Tan Son-Ta Nang connecting road project, Mr. Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the investor and contractors in completing and putting into use component project 1, the section from Tan Son town to Ma Noi commune, in October 2023. Currently, the construction units are continuing to implement the next phase, the section from Ma Noi commune to Ta Nang intersection. Although facing difficulties due to insufficient construction land, the contractors are focusing on construction for the sections where land is available (8km/23.1km in Ninh Thuan province and 15km/17.1km in Lam Dong province).
Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, inspected the progress of the key project Tan Son-Ta Nang road (Duc Trong).
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this is a key project of the province, playing a crucial role in connecting with the provinces of the Southern Central Highlands. In the past, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee have directed very decisively to resolve difficulties related to land clearance, especially the process of preparing documents for converting forest land for the project. In the coming time, the province will continue to direct relevant units, in coordination with Lam Dong province, to soon complete the documents for submission to the Central Government for approval of forest land conversion for the remaining sections; striving to complete and put the Tan Son-Ta Nang road project into operation and open the route in 2024 to celebrate the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Regarding the difficulties in funding the project, Comrade Pham Van Hau also stated that the Provincial People's Council has passed a Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the medium-term plan of Central Government budget capital for the period 2021-2025 within the total medium-term capital allocated to the province. While awaiting central government funding allocation, to expedite progress, the Provincial People's Committee has advanced local budget funds to compensate for land clearance and construction.
* Inspecting the construction progress of the Cam Lam-Vinh Hao section of the North-South Expressway project within the province, Mr. Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged the efforts of the construction units in accelerating the project's progress. Currently, the 63km Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway section through Ninh Thuan province, implemented by the joint venture of Deo Ca Group and Company 194, has basically completed the roadbed and is proceeding with the installation of technical items, road markings, signs, protective fences, lighting systems, and local roads. The contractors are maintaining three shifts, working day and night to accelerate the main items to meet the required completion schedule.
Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, inspected the Nui Vung Tunnel project (Thuan Nam district) on the North-South Expressway.
To implement the project, the province has recently directed relevant departments and localities to carry out land clearance, ensure the supply of raw materials, and resolve difficulties and obstacles to ensure the project's smooth implementation. For the road connecting the Expressway and National Highway 1 with the Ca Na General Port, the province has also allocated sufficient budget funds to make advance payments to residents, aiming to expedite land clearance for construction and ensure connectivity when the Expressway opens in March 2024. The comrade requested that the contractors and construction units implement the project on schedule and with quality to maximize investment efficiency; and requested that relevant departments and agencies closely coordinate with the investor and construction units to resolve difficulties and obstacles during implementation, striving to complete the projects on time and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
