Dong Nai: Nearly 50,000 families received policy loans in the first 9 months of 2025

According to Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Dong Nai province branch, Le Ba Chuyen, the total policy capital in the province up to this point has reached over 11.75 trillion VND, an increase of 1.18 trillion VND compared to the beginning of the year.

In the past 9 months, nearly 50 thousand poor households and other policy beneficiaries have been able to borrow capital with a total amount of nearly 3 trillion VND, of which nearly 18.5 thousand families have borrowed over 784 billion VND from the clean water and environmental sanitation loan program to build and renovate 36.8 thousand clean water works and sanitation works; the loan program for students in difficult circumstances has disbursed over 252 billion VND for more than 7 thousand students; 376 customers have borrowed over 141 billion VND from the social housing loan program; 4.4 thousand poor households, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty have borrowed nearly 284 billion VND to do business ... This contributes to raising the total number of customers borrowing policy capital to over 212.6 thousand cases with a loan amount of over 11.72 trillion VND. In addition, 100% of policy credit transaction points ensure smooth and safe operations...

Comrade Le Truong Son highly appreciated the achievements of policy credit work in recent months in Dong Nai.

In addition, comrade Le Truong Son also requested the provincial branch of the Social Policy Bank to proactively grasp the progress of implementing national target programs in the area to review and not miss families in the group that can access policy capital.

For the social housing loan program, the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies needs to proactively work with investors of social housing projects as well as provincial authorities to promptly grasp the project progress as well as provide information, procedures, and incentives from this loan program to the people.

At the same time, the provincial branch of the Social Policy Bank, along with organizations receiving entrusted capital, and the authorities of communes and wards need to continue to coordinate in providing information on policy credit programs to the people; closely coordinate in managing loan capital sources; apply information technology to the operations of the Social Policy Bank system...
