Dong Nai: Number of shoppers increased by 20-50% in the first 2 days of the holiday

(DN) - During the first two days of the National Day holiday (September 2), shopping malls and supermarkets in Dong Nai attracted a large number of people to visit and shop.

According to records from many supermarkets and shopping centers, shopping demand at supermarkets and shopping centers increased by 20-50% compared to normal weekends.

Director of MM Mega Market Bien Hoa Supermarket (Tran Bien Ward) Nguyen Ky Hiep said: During the past 2 weekends, the number of customers coming to the supermarket to shop increased by 20-30% compared to normal weekends. On average, the supermarket welcomed more than 3,000 customers per day.

On this occasion, the supermarket promotes promotional programs to stimulate consumption, especially programs for Vietnamese goods, agricultural products, local specialties, necessities, household goods... with many products with discounts up to 50%, buy 1 get 1 free...

Similarly, Director of Co.opmart Dong Phu Supermarket (Dong Phu Commune) Nguyen Quoc Minh said: On the occasion of National Day this year, the supermarket has launched a consumer stimulus program called "Proud of Vietnamese Supermarket" with many Vietnamese products with great discounts. The supermarket also focuses on decorating and displaying elaborate booths to attract consumers to visit, check-in, and shop during this holiday. During the last 2 days of this weekend, the number of customers coming to shop at the supermarket increased by about 30-50% compared to normal weekends.
