Groundbreaking ceremony for construction of 25C road worth over 647 billion VND connecting to Long Thanh airport

Route 25C will connect to Highway 51, then onto Road T1 to Long Thanh Airport.

On January 15, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board broke ground on the construction of Provincial Road 25C from National Highway 51 to Provincial Road 19 (phase 1). This is the route connecting to Long Thanh Airport through Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts (Dong Nai).

The project will build a new road about 2.15km long, the starting point of the route is adjacent to Highway 19 (Long Tho commune, Nhon Trach district). The end point is adjacent to National Highway 51 at Km 26+800, Long Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district.

Design speed is 80km/h for main road, 60km/h for parallel road. There will be 3 intersections at the same level including intersections with Huong Lo 19, Huong Lo 12 and National Highway 51.

On the route, a new Ba Ky bridge with prestressed concrete, 24.54m long and 37m wide, will be built. For site clearance work, the entire construction boundary of 100m will be reclaimed.

The project has a total investment of more than 647 billion VND. The joint venture of Thanh An Corporation and Cuong Thuan IDICO Development Investment Joint Stock Company is the project contractor.

This is an important traffic infrastructure project to ensure traffic connection for Long Thanh airport.

Previously, in early 2024, Nhon Trach district also started the project to build provincial road 25C (section 2) with a length of 6.4km, the starting point of the project intersects with Hung Vuong street, the end point of the project intersects with Nguyen Huu Canh street.

The completed construction projects of sections of Provincial Road 25C will form a connecting axis from Long Thanh Airport to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3.
