Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway project with crushed stone construction

The Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway Project Phase 1 has a total length of more than 188 km, of which the section through An Giang is 57 km long with a total investment of more than 13,500 billion VND. As of October 9, the progress of the entire project through An Giang province has reached more than 61.5%, exceeding the set plan and officially entering the first phase of crushed stone construction along the entire route with a length of 2 km.

The Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway project has begun the first phase of crushed stone base construction.

The construction of the first layer of crushed stone base marks a significant milestone, demonstrating the contractor's determination to complete the project on schedule, with high quality and ensuring technical standards. According to the plan, from now until November 20th, the Truong Son contractor will complete four layers of crushed stone base, and it is expected that asphalt paving will begin on the entire first 2 km section on November 25th. By December 19th, the two branches connecting N1 and N2 to National Highway 91 will be open for technical traffic.

The implementation of the first crushed stone layer is not only a technical step forward, but also demonstrates the efforts of the government and contractors in soon turning the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway into a new development driving force for the Southwest region.
