Tourists enjoy experiencing a 'train trip back in time' in 'Truc Bach Night'

TPO - On the evening of November 29, at Ngoc Ngu Xa island area (Truc Bach ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi ), the unique tourist space "Truc Bach Night" opened.

At the Ngoc Ngu Xa Island tourist area, the program "Truc Bach Night" brings an interesting experience with inspiration from the subsidy period, recreating the daily life of people during this historical period.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that the tourism promotion program "Truc Bach Night 2024" is of great significance in continuing to affirm the City's efforts and role in focusing on developing the night-time economy through tourism products, in order to exploit the potential of the Capital in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. Hanoi Night, with the sparkling lights and the breath of history through every street corner, is a unique model, helping visitors discover a very different Hanoi - a charming, poetic and profound Hanoi.

Within the framework of the program, the announcement ceremony of the decision to recognize three tourist attractions was given to three historical relics including the special national relics of Quan Thanh Temple, Voi Phuc Temple and Ngoc Island - Truc Bach.

Many impressive programs bearing the mark of Hanoi took place on the opening night.

For the first time in Hanoi, the entire event space will be set up like a film studio, reminding the capital's residents and visitors of the memories of the "subsidy period" - one of the country's special periods.

Visitors visit and experience the "Hanoi Street Museum" with unique art activities, enjoy rich cuisine and stories imbued with the capital.

Metro Line 6 - Hanoi Street Museum officially opened on this occasion with different themes on 4 cars of Metro Line 6. According to the Organizing Committee, each train car will carry a typical culinary theme of Hanoi and Vietnam such as: Rice - paddy - rice, pho - vermicelli - noodles, kitchen - cupboard - tray... The cars seem to form trains carrying heritage, "mini museums" of culture and cuisine.

Many special culinary dishes are introduced to locals and tourists on this occasion.

Many people come to experience the unique cultural space at Truc Bach.

The “Truc Bach Night” program will last until December 1, 2024. This is Hanoi’s effort to bring new products to the city’s night tourism areas, contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the capital.
