Da Nang is giving away 2,000 free tickets to the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival as part of the Enjoy Danang 2024 program.

On March 29th, the Da Nang City Department of Tourism, along with related units, announced a program to stimulate demand and attract tourists to Da Nang (Enjoy Danang 2024).

The organizers announced that participating units have committed to offering more than 10,000 free service packages, tickets, and discounts worth a total of 5 billion VND to tourists.

In particular, the city is prioritizing giving away 2,000 tickets to the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival to tourists who register to purchase tourism services and products on online platforms, on the program's website enjoydanang.vn…

Ms. Huynh Thi Huong Lan, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, said that this year there will be new tourism products launched for the first time to serve the needs of tourists visiting Da Nang, such as: water music shows, water puppet shows, jet ski shows, the opening of Bach Dang pedestrian street and pilot nighttime services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the park on the east bank at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, and a Hue - Da Nang tourist train with the theme "Connecting Central Vietnam Heritage"…

This year's program features many attractive new elements and diverse choices for various market segments. Therefore, Enjoy Danang 2024 is expected to contribute to achieving the target of welcoming 8.4 million tourists in 2024.

"We want to spread the image of Da Nang as an attractive destination and want tourists to enjoy the wonderful moments, emotions, and experiences here," Ms. Lan said.

At the event, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, stated that in the first three months of the year, the total number of flights to Da Nang was estimated at 9,550, with approximately 1.59 million passengers, including 4,752 international flights.

Currently, the city receives an average of over 100 domestic and international flights per day. It is expected that five new international routes will be added in the second quarter of this year.

Mr. Cuong stated that the Enjoy Danang 2024 program focuses on product packages including: events and festivals, night tourism, culinary tourism, wedding tourism, and MICE tourism.

"Currently, Da Nang tourism has many opportunities to enhance its image as a destination, especially after the recent events welcoming elites," Mr. Cuong said.

Da Nang hosts events and festivals that last all year round.

This year, Da Nang plans to host various festivals and events such as: the Brazil-Vietnam Football Festival 2024, the International Fireworks Festival, the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival, Vinfast Iron Man 70.3 Vietnam, Danang International Marathon 2024, the International Street Art Festival, the Da Nang Beer Festival, the BRG Open Golf Championship, the Da Nang Asian Film Festival, etc.

In addition, tourists will have the opportunity to enhance their experience and explore Da Nang with attractive night-time tourism products, Han River cruises, activities in tourist streets, and night markets.
