On October 20, the People's Committee of Bao Lam 2 Commune ( Lam Dong Province) announced that 4 out of 5 households eligible for compensation had received money and handed over the site to the construction unit of the road connecting to Dai Nga Bridge on National Highway 20.

Accordingly, the total area to be acquired for the connecting road is 2,787 m², with a total compensation cost of over 3.94 billion VND. To date, 1.65 billion VND has been disbursed to households that have handed over the land. Immediately after the land was cleared, the construction unit began bringing in machinery and equipment to lower the ground level for construction.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that the Dai Nga Bridge, about 100m long, was completed at the end of 2024. This is a project in the project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20, invested by Project Management Board 85 ( Ministry of Construction ) with a total cost of 441 billion VND.

Although the bridge's construction is complete, the land at one end has not yet been cleared, preventing traffic from connecting the bridge. Meanwhile, thousands of vehicles still travel across the old Dai Nga bridge every day, which is narrow and severely dilapidated, posing a significant traffic safety risk.
Regarding this project, recently, Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, requested Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) - the investor - to request the contractor to urgently deploy and complete the remaining items, and soon put the project into synchronous operation.
