In early July, Samsung announced its new generation of foldable smartphones in the Vietnamese market. Accordingly, the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 duo have listed prices starting from 29 million VND and 47 million VND respectively for the 256GB version.
However, in reality, users in Vietnam can access this product line at a significantly lower price. According to a survey by Dan Tri reporters at many large retail systems, users will be directly deducted 2 million VND from the product price when pre-ordering the device.

On e-commerce sites like Lazada and Shopee, users can easily order the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 at prices starting from 26 million VND and 43 million VND respectively, which is 3 million VND lower than the manufacturer's listed price.
Even when searching on Facebook groups dedicated to buying and selling phones, users can easily find posts accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip7 at 23 million VND and the Galaxy Z Fold7 at 37 million VND.
Of course, users also need to be cautious when buying goods from these groups.
According to retailers, users in Vietnam tend to choose the Galaxy Z Fold7 version more often than the Galaxy Z Flip7. This is also a common purchasing habit among Vietnamese customers whenever a high-end phone is launched.

"After 7 days of pre-orders, the number of customers placing deposits has increased by 70% compared to its predecessor. Of these, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 product line accounts for approximately 85% of total orders, with navy blue and gray being the most popular colors," a representative from Di Dong Viet said.
Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS system, also shared similar information. Accordingly, the percentage of customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Z Fold7 accounted for the majority, approximately 70% of the total number of orders.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 stands out with its thin and light design, only 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when expanded, and a weight of 215g. The screen is also significantly expanded, with the outer screen up to 6.5 inches and the inner screen 8 inches.
For the Galaxy Z Flip7, the highlight is the large 4.1-inch outer screen and the expanded 6.9-inch inner screen. The device has an Exynos 2500 chip developed by Samsung, 12GB RAM and 256/512GB memory options.
"With valuable design upgrades and a host of smart features, we expect this year's Galaxy Z foldable smartphone generation to continue to be well-received by many customers," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile stated.
