In early July, Samsung announced its new generation of foldable smartphones in the Vietnamese market. Accordingly, the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 duo have listed prices of 29 million VND and 47 million VND respectively for the 256GB version.

However, in reality, users in Vietnam can access this product line at a significantly lower price. According to a survey by Dan Tri reporters at many large retail systems, users will be directly deducted 2 million VND from the product price when pre-ordering the device.

On e-commerce sites like Lazada or Shopee, users can also easily order the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 duo at prices starting from 26 million VND and 43 million VND respectively, 3 million VND lower than the listed price from the company.

Even when searching in phone buying and selling groups on Facebook, users can easily find posts accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip7 for 23 million VND and the Galaxy Z Fold7 for 37 million VND.

Of course, users also need to be careful when buying on these groups.

According to dealers, users in Vietnam tend to buy the Galaxy Z Fold7 version more than the Galaxy Z Flip7. This is also the shopping habit of customers in Vietnam every time high-end phones are launched.

"After 7 days of opening orders, the number of customers placing deposits has increased by 70% compared to the previous version. Of which, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 product line accounts for about 85% of total orders, with navy blue and gray being the most popular colors," said a representative of the Mobile World system.

Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS system, also shared similar information. Accordingly, the percentage of customers pre-ordering Galaxy Z Fold7 accounts for the majority, about 70% of the total number of orders.

Galaxy Z Fold7 stands out with its thin and light design, only 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when expanded, with a weight of 215g. The screen is also significantly expanded, the outer screen is 6.5 inches and the inner screen is 8 inches.

For the Galaxy Z Flip7, the highlight is the large 4.1-inch outer screen and the expanded 6.9-inch inner screen. The device has an Exynos 2500 chip developed by Samsung, 12GB RAM and 256/512GB memory options.

"With valuable upgrades in design and a series of smart features, we expect this year's generation of Galaxy Z foldable smartphones to continue to be well received by many customers," said a representative of the Minh Tuan Mobile system.
