This activity is part of the program "Medical examination for a healthier Vietnam" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association in coordination with the Da Nang Young Physicians Association and the Lien Chieu District Medical Center and related units.

Here, more than 25 doctors and nurses examined, provided health consultation, distributed medicine, and gave gifts to more than 400 adults and 300 children in the district.

People are given general examinations by doctors and nurses.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam (72 years old, living in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang) was present at Lien Chieu district Medical Center early for a free general examination.

“Because of my old age, I often have difficulty breathing at night. One side of my chest also often aches. I am very grateful for the care and free medical examinations the medical team has given me,” said Ms. Cam.

Many people come to get free medical check-ups.

According to the records, a large number of people gathered at the medical examination counters. Here, people will receive general examinations such as blood pressure measurement, cardiovascular examination, abdominal ultrasound...

MSc. Dinh Van Thieu - Head of the Emergency Resuscitation Department, Lien Chieu District Medical Center - said that this activity aims to take care of people's health, especially the elderly and children.

“I am very happy that many people have trusted and come to the center for medical examination this morning. Through general examination, we can detect diseases early so that we can promptly advise people on how to take care of their health,” Dr. Thieu shared.

At the program, the medical team also instructed students on personal hygiene and proper hand washing procedures.

On this occasion, the organizers presented 10 gifts to poor families, policy beneficiaries, people with disabilities and 300 gifts and medical examinations for children.
