This activity is part of the "Medical Examination for a Healthier Vietnam" program organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Doctors Association in collaboration with the Da Nang Young Doctors Association, the Lien Chieu District Health Center, and other related units.
Here, more than 25 doctors and medical staff examined patients, provided health advice, dispensed medicine, and gave gifts to over 400 adults and 300 children in the district.
People received general check-ups from doctors and medical staff.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam (72 years old, residing in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang) arrived at the Lien Chieu District Health Center early for a free general check-up.
"Because of my age, I often have difficulty breathing at night. One side of my chest also frequently aches. I am very grateful for the care and free medical examinations provided by the medical team," said Mrs. Cam.
A large number of people came for free medical check-ups.
According to reports, a large number of people gathered at the medical examination counters. Here, people received general check-ups such as blood pressure measurement, cardiovascular examination, abdominal ultrasound, etc.
According to Master's degree holder Dinh Van Thieu, head of the intensive care unit at Lien Chieu District Health Center, this activity aims to provide healthcare for the people, especially the elderly and children.
Hundreds of students participated in the "Health Check-up for a Healthier Vietnam" program.
"I am very pleased that many people have trusted us and come for check-ups at the center this morning. Through general check-ups, we can detect diseases early and provide timely advice on how to take care of people's health," Dr. Thieu shared.
During the program, the medical team also instructed the students on personal hygiene and the proper handwashing procedure.
On this occasion, the organizers presented 10 gifts to poor families, families receiving social welfare benefits, and people with disabilities, and provided 300 gifts and medical check-ups for children.
