Nearly 1.8 million passengers were served by Hanoi Metro on the occasion of National Day September 2

On September 3, Hanoi Metro Company Limited said that from August 21 to September 2, nearly 1.8 million passengers were transported on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway lines.

Specifically, from August 30th to September 2nd, following the directives of the Hanoi People's Committee, Hanoi Metro provided free services to nearly 690,000 passengers, including: over 468,000 passengers on Line 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong and over 217,000 passengers on Line 3.1 Nho Son - Hanoi Station.

In particular, on September 1st, the Cat Linh - Ha Dong Line 2A set a new record by transporting over 165,000 passengers. This is the highest single-day passenger volume ever recorded for this line. This figure further affirms the important role of urban rail in reducing congestion and ensuring smooth traffic flow during major holidays.

To spread the message of "Safety - Convenience - Environmentally Friendly," Hanoi Metro collaborated with partners including Grab, VietABank, Coca-Cola, Banh Mi Pho, Bao Ngoc, and the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee and the Hanoi City Red Cross. The activity distributed nearly 40,000 bottles of water and over 2,000 servings of bread and pastries free of charge to passengers.

The company also thanks the departments, agencies, and local authorities for their dedicated cooperation and support.
