Accordingly, 495 primary, secondary, and high school students received scholarships ranging from 600,000 to 800,000 VND per scholarship, along with many encouraging rewards for good and excellent students, those who won awards in their studies, and students transitioning to the next level.
In addition to scholarships, each student also received a school bag worth nearly 400,000 VND containing various books and school supplies for the new school year. The total funding for this round of support was nearly 740 million VND.

Besides awarding scholarships, the program also organized many meaningful activities such as: measuring height and weight, collecting academic progress reports from students receiving long-term scholarships, collecting drawings to print thank-you cards for sponsors, and meeting and taking photos for 18 new students.
The organizers also provided guidance on the procedures for 12th-grade students to continue receiving support when they are admitted to universities, colleges, or vocational schools.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Hoang Trong Thuy, Head Representative of Zhi Shan Foundation in Vietnam, emphasized: “These scholarships not only help alleviate difficulties for poor students but also provide them with motivation to excel in their studies, nurture their dreams, and assert themselves. Zhi Shan Foundation is committed to continuing to support and care for children in Nghe An in the future.”
Over the years, Zhi Shan Foundation has collaborated with the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund to implement many practical programs. Among them, the scholarship project for disadvantaged students is a prominent activity, contributing to supporting poor students to continue their education and spreading the spirit of compassion in the community.
