According to the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam announced by the Ministry of Education and Training , the rate of candidates taking the English exam with failing scores (equal to or less than 1 point) and the rate of candidates with below average scores (less than 5 points) both decreased compared to 2023.
However, English is the subject with 42.67% of the test scores below average. The average score of English candidates is also the lowest among the subjects, at 5.51 points. This average score has only increased slightly compared to 5.45 points in 2023.
The number of candidates achieving perfect scores in English is 565, an increase compared to 2023.
