Meeting with artists and writers of Quang Ninh province

On January 9, Quang Ninh province held a meeting with the province's artists and awarded player Nguyen Hai Long of the Vietnam National Football Team. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and spoke at the meeting. Also attending were comrades: Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and nearly 100 artists and representatives.

In 2024, the activities of members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the Quang Ninh Folk Arts Association were constantly renewed, attracting the attention and response of a large number of artists and people. Practical creative activities; fine arts and photography exhibitions on major holidays, and discussions in the fields of literature, music , fine arts, photography, and folk arts were held regularly. Members won many awards in national, regional, and provincial literary and artistic competitions.

At the meeting, the delegates expressed their joy, honor and trust in the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, with the desire to develop the province further. At the same time, they requested the province to continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the artists to continuously grow and contribute more to the development of the province and the country in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, respectfully thanked the artists for their active, persistent, dedicated and responsible contributions to the overall socio -economic development results of the province in 2024.

Sharing about some major orientations of the province in 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in order to complete the goals of the entire 2020-2025 term, creating momentum for the new term, the province has identified breakthrough targets and goals in economic development; building the Party, political system, streamlining the organizational apparatus; ensuring national security and defense. In addition, to achieve sustainable development steps for 2025 as well as the next period, culture - people are identified as one of the breakthroughs and driving forces for development. In particular, continuing to effectively implement Resolution 17 of the Provincial Party Committee "On building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development" is identified as a key solution.

To realize the above goals and tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the team of artists in the coming time will continue to accompany the implementation of the common development goals of the province, especially focusing on building the province's literature and art worthy of the new era - the era of national development. In particular, promote the development achievements and beautiful image of Quang Ninh to the people in the country and international friends through literary and artistic works and activities. At the same time, actively participate in refuting and fighting against the false and fabricated arguments of hostile forces.

He also requested that the associations and branches of literature and art, folk arts, focus on improving the quality of activities as well as the quality of each literary and artistic work in order to create quality works that are accepted by the public. Thereby contributing to promoting the development of literature and art. Along with that, linking literary and artistic activities with other economic activities of the province, especially in the field of tourism; bringing cultural art forms, especially folk arts, into schools to maintain the flow of culture from being lost.

He also requested cultural management agencies to continue to pay attention to policies for artists and folk artisans; create favorable conditions in terms of facilities to serve the activities of associations and branches. At the same time, orient creative activities as well as arrange and organize the apparatus of associations and branches according to the direction of the Central and the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his belief that with the enthusiasm and intelligence of each artist and the support of the province, literary and artistic activities will have new developments, contributing more to the construction and development of the province, so that together with the province and the whole country, they can prepare the best conditions to enter the new era - the era of national growth.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and provincial leaders presented the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee and commended and encouraged player Nguyen Hai Long.

Also at the meeting, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and provincial leaders presented a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee and 350 million VND in reward and encouragement to player Nguyen Hai Long, a member of the Vietnam national football team that just won the ASEAN Cup 2024 championship.
