The total coffee area nationwide now stands at approximately 735,200 hectares.
The main reason is the sharp increase in coffee prices recently, which has prompted people to accelerate replanting and expand cultivation areas to take advantage of the high price period.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 139,000 VND/kg and 144,000 VND/kg.
According to the Import-Export Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), domestic pepper prices are currently low because farmers and speculators continue to hold onto their stock, expecting prices to recover better in the third and fourth quarters.
