Gia Lai trains journalism in the 4.0 era - fostering podcast skills and AI applications

DNVN - On the morning of December 6, in Quy Nhon Nam ward, the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association opened a training course on podcast production skills and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism activities, contributing to helping journalists keep up with modern media trends.

The class was attended by 20 reporters, editors, and translators from provincial press agencies and the Culture - Information and Sports Centers of communes and wards in the area. During 2 days, students were directly taught knowledge and skills in podcast production from basic to advanced by Master Vu The Cuong - Lecturer of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, part-time lecturer of the Center for Journalism Training ( Vietnam Journalists Association ).

Along with that, students are also guided to apply AI in statistics, staging and processing data quickly and effectively; analyze images, automatically write content and create news articles from available data. In addition, the class also spends time practicing using AI technology in professional tasks such as video production, graphic design, data collection and analysis, suggestions on writing and title creation...

Through the training program, Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association hopes to improve the professionalism and digital thinking of journalists, contributing to innovating the content and form of propaganda in the current period of strong digital transformation.
