Gia Lai provincial leaders present investment policy decisions to investors.
The conference witnessed the signing and awarding of 42 memorandums of understanding on cooperation; 27 investment policy decisions/investment registration certificates to 67 enterprises with a total registered capital of more than VND 119,000 billion, spread across key sectors: Industry; agriculture, forestry and processing; trade, services, tourism ; real estate; infrastructure; logistics; renewable energy.
Speaking at the conference, Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung emphasized: "The success of the conference is just the beginning. In order for commitments to quickly become reality and projects to soon come into operation, we all need to act decisively, synchronously and consistently.
In that spirit, the province will assign each project to a provincial focal point responsible for the entire project; establish an Investment Promotion and Support Working Group directly directed by the Provincial People's Committee, responsible for immediately removing difficulties and obstacles (if any) to speed up the progress of the projects."
Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the commitment and strict implementation of administrative procedures "5 public - 3 companion" - Public planning, clean land fund; public procedures - deadlines - criteria; public status of records on digital environment; public responsibility and hotline.
The government accompanies from idea-preparation-implementation. Strive to shorten at least 30% of the time to process procedures compared to regulations; resolutely and strictly handle manifestations of harassment and inconvenience to businesses.
Along with that, prepare well "hard infrastructure" and "soft infrastructure". The province will continue to accelerate key infrastructure projects: Expressways and connecting road systems, upgrading international airports, planning and developing industrial parks and clusters, logistics, deep-water ports, etc.; focus on completing digital infrastructure, open data to serve investors; develop high-quality human resources, train according to business orders; encourage innovation, green transformation and digital transformation in businesses.
"The province is determined to attract selective investment; support and create the best conditions for investors for common development; prioritize high-tech projects, high added value, environmentally friendly, economical use of land and energy; encourage regional linkages, linkages of "enterprises-cooperatives-farmers-banks- science " to form sustainable value chains; promote the model of "investment with social responsibility" associated with social security, culture and environment.
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung also requested departments, branches, sectors and local authorities to innovate their thinking, act decisively, consistently and professionally; improve public ethics, take the success of enterprises as a measure of task completion; not to push or avoid, work based on data and digital processes, while ensuring discipline and administrative order.

Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that after the merger, the province will become an administrative unit with an area of over 21,500 km² and a population of over 3.5 million people, ranking second in the country in terms of scale. With 35 ethnic groups living together, more than 600,000 hectares of forest and millions of hectares of fertile agricultural land, Gia Lai has valuable conditions for comprehensive and sustainable development.
In the new journey, Gia Lai identifies the general goal for the 2026-2030 period as rapid and sustainable development on the basis of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and green transformation.
The province aspires to become a center of industry, high-tech agriculture, services, tourism, artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors in the Central Highlands region, striving to achieve double-digit economic growth, and rise to the group of fairly developed provinces in the country.
To realize that aspiration, Gia Lai province has identified five growth pillars including: Developing processing industry, renewable energy, AI and semiconductor industry; developing eco-tourism, marine tourism and indigenous culture into spearhead economic sectors; promoting high-tech agriculture, sustainable forestry associated with deep processing; developing port and logistics services, forming a connection center from Le Thanh border gate to Quy Nhon port; developing sustainable urban areas, associated with industrial real estate, tourism and services.
