The 1st Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament - 2022 was a success beyond expectations.
This year’s tournament is expected to take place from July 1 to 9 at the Thieu Hoa District Sports Center and Thieu Hoa District Stadium. The tournament is organized by Thanh Hoa Newspaper in collaboration with the Thanh Hoa Football Federation and the Thanh Hoa Departmentof Education and Training.
The competition is for children aged U8 and U10, from primary schools, secondary schools and multi-level schools in Thanh Hoa province. The competition has 2 sets of prizes, including prizes for children aged 8 and under and 10 and under.
For athletes in the provincial U9, U10, U11 teams, if they are not in training or competing in national tournaments and are of the correct age, they will be allowed to return to their locality to compete in order to develop the local movement.
According to the Organizing Committee, the teams' profiles must be submitted to the Thanh Hoa Football Federation before June 10 so that the Organizing Committee can check the personnel profiles from June 11 to June 15.
In this year's tournament, with the careful and methodical investment of the Organizing Committee, digital technology and social networks will continue to be applied to help spread the tournament to all parts of the country. The matches will be reported live on Thanh Hoa Newspaper (www.baothanhhoa.vn) and the newspaper's social networking platforms.

This activity aims to encourage children to participate in football training, improve their physical fitness and discover football talents for the province. At the same time, it also creates opportunities for experts and coaches of the U9 and U11 Thanh Hoa teams to observe and select new players.
