Thuong Hoa Primary and Secondary School is now located in Kim Phu commune, Quang Tri province. The school is located in a mountainous border area, but is often affected by floods.
In particular, after heavy rains caused by storms No. 5 and No. 6, roads leading to the locality were deeply flooded and isolated for many days.

With the support of the Border Guard, teachers and students here are overcoming all difficulties to prepare the necessary conditions to enter the new school year.
Currently, the three villages of Yen Hop, On and Mo O O O (Kim Phu commune, Quang Tri province) are still isolated because the nearly 500m long Hung Trau road is still deeply flooded.
To get to school, teachers have to park their vehicles at the beginning of the road, then travel on small boats to cross the flooded section.
In difficult conditions, teachers of Thuong Hoa Primary and Secondary School encouraged each other to stay at school and in the village, clean up classrooms, prepare desks and chairs, hang flags and slogans, and prepare carefully so that students could have a joyful and exciting opening ceremony.

Thuong Hoa Primary and Secondary School currently has 3 campuses, of which the main campus is located in Yen Hop village, the remaining 2 campuses are located in On village and Mo O O O village.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 96 primary school students and 50 secondary school students. They are all Ruc, Sach, and Chut ethnic groups.

Mr. Phan The Dung, Principal of Thuong Hoa Primary and Secondary School, shared that the school is located in a mountainous border commune with extremely difficult socio -economic conditions.
In particular, because Hung Trau road is still deeply flooded and traffic is cut off, 100% of the school's teachers have proactively stayed in the village to prepare for the opening ceremony and the new school year.

Preparations for the opening ceremony have basically been completed. Teachers and students are eagerly entering the new school year with high spirit, enthusiasm and determination.
In recent days, to support schools in isolated areas in preparing for the opening ceremony, officers and soldiers of Ca Xeng Border Guard Station, together with teachers, have sprayed away every patch of mud remaining on the schoolyard, decorated classrooms, and erected rows of red flags with yellow stars on the road leading to the school.

Ca Xeng Border Guard Station also gave students small but loving gifts: books, school bags, and school supplies.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Duong Dinh Hoan, Political Commissar of Ca Xeng Border Guard Station, the unit has mobilized dozens of soldiers to support schools located in the area in cleaning classrooms and preparing the best conditions for the opening ceremony of the new school year.

In addition, Ca Xeng Border Guard Station screened students in difficult circumstances and included them in the programs "Helping children go to school" and "Adopted children of the Border Guard Station"; and provided school supplies and books to students in difficult circumstances.
Dinh Thi Huyen Nhu, an 8th grade student at Thuong Hoa Primary and Secondary School, shared that her family is very poor. Every new school year, buying books and school supplies for her siblings is always a big concern.
This year, Huyen Nhu was given a school bag and books by her teachers and soldiers, so she was very happy. She promised herself that she would study hard to not let everyone down.
Kim Phu commune authorities coordinated with the school to prepare the best conditions for students in isolated areas to enter the new school year.
The locality also arranged two boats to take teachers and students across the flooded section. At the same time, everyone was required to wear life jackets when traveling by boat to ensure absolute safety.
