Hanoi: Child falls from high floor of apartment building

At nearly 5:00 p.m. on December 9, an 11-year-old boy fell from an upper floor at building B of Ho Guom Plaza apartment building (Ha Dong ward, Hanoi).

Immediately after receiving the news, the Command Information Center - Hanoi City Police mobilized Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams of Areas 15 and 4 with one rescue vehicle, one ladder truck and two fire trucks, along with 21 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene of the incident.

Upon arriving at the scene, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force quickly deployed a specialized ladder with rescue officers and soldiers to the location where the victim was trapped. After that, they secured the victim to a stretcher and brought him to the ground, handing him over to the medical team to take him to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Initial information said the baby was born in 2014 and is currently a 6th grade student.
