Hanoi: Fierce fire at vegetable company at midnight after loud explosion

At 0:05 on July 19, a fire broke out at Vegetable and Fruit Import-Export Joint Stock Company I at 389 Truong Dinh Street (Hoang Mai Ward, Hanoi).

According to initial information, at the above time, a loud explosion was heard inside the premises of Vegetable and Fruit Import-Export Joint Stock Company I, then the fire quickly flared up fiercely, causing anxiety among local residents.

Upon receiving the news, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center dispatched Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams of Areas 12, 9, and 5 to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue. Hoang Mai Ward Police also mobilized officers and soldiers to ensure security and order in the area.

Realizing that the fire was getting complicated, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department increased its forces to the scene to inspect and direct the investigation into the cause of the fire. The City Police Command Information Center continued to mobilize the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 7 to the scene to organize fire fighting.

By 1:40 a.m., the fire was basically under control. Initial preliminary statistics showed that the fire area was approximately 500-700 ^{square meters} ; the fire did not cause any human casualties; property damage and the cause of the fire are being investigated.
